ARTHOUSE Meath artists exhibit and sell their artwork in regular exhibitions around the UK.

The majority of artists are residents at The Meath Trust, a fantastic care home for people with complex epilepsy usually associated with a learning or physical disabiltity.

The products created at ARTHOUSE Meath are derived from the artists' individual style of design, drawing and painting. We sell this merchandise to promote and fund our work.

Around 60 artists of varying abilities who live with epilepsy, learning and physical disabilities are involved in all processes of creating works of art, from personal expression to group merchandise.

All products are printed in ARTHOUSE Meath with the ARTHOUSE Meath logo designed by an ARTHOUSE artist and an explanation of this engaging business.

Money from the items sold goes back into the project for further development and ARTHOUSE Meath artists all receive incentive payments.

group paintings

The boat and bird paintings are created to commission by ARTHOUSE Meath artists working together in small groups on a large canvas. Each artist brings their individual skills to the artwork which makes their images richly detailed and deliciously vibrant. The paintings shown are EXAMPLES to give you an idea of our work, your commission will be a NEW, UNIQUE work of art.

terms and conditions

All work is handmade and individual. There may be slight differences between orders. Prices include UK postage and packing. We can deliver to the UK only. Allow four weeks for delivery (mugs will not be available till the end of November 2009). Please remember we are a charity and not a profit-making organisation. Online payments are made securely through PayPal.

The Meath Epilepsy Trust provides support and a caring home for more than 60 adults who have severe epilepsy, coupled with a learning disability and in some cases, a physical disability. This debilitating combination of conditions means many of our residents will not reach a point where they can live independently and will spend the rest of their lives with us. We aim to maximise their quality of life by helping them to understand and manage their conditions, and by giving them opportunities they would otherwise miss out on. With your help the ARTHOUSE gives residents the opportunity to create, exhibit and sell their artwork. Registered charity 200359.
